Mr. Eric Hamilton - Interim Co-Principal

Mr. Eric Hamilton is the interim Co-Principal of Waukegan High School’s Brookside Campus. With over 30 years of experience in education, Eric brings a wealth of knowledge and a passionate commitment to fostering student growth and academic excellence.

Eric began his career in Waukegan as a bilingual and ESL teacher at the Waukegan Career Academy, teaching a variety of subjects across the district's campuses. He later served as the Assistant Principal for Student Services at Waukegan High School’s Washington Campus and as Principal of Antioch Community High School. Additionally, he spent 13 years as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Lake Zurich High School.

Dedicated to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, Eric values the support and involvement of parents and families as vital to the success and well-being of students. He is excited to partner with the Brookside Campus community to help every student reach their full potential.
