Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60’s annual Elementary Art Show is now underway at the Waukegan Public Library through April 26.

More than 250 pieces, including pencil and paper work, watercolor paintings, marker drawings, 3D models/ sculptures, found object art, and more, were submitted to teachers from all 15 WPS elementary school throughout the school year. The items selected for the Art Show are a snapshot of work done throughout elementary art classes. 

Receptions honoring this year’s selectees are planned for Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23 at the Waukegan Public Library. Receptions will take place at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. each evening. Families should have received invitations from their schools showing which date and when their school’s ceremony will take place.

The Elementary Art show is annually hosted at the Waukegan Public Library.
