A new opportunity for families in Waukegan School District 60 will begin next year! Students enrolling in preschool for the 2024/2025 school year will have the option to enter the lottery for our new Two-way Dual Language program. Interested families are encouraged to attend our informational meeting held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on January 25 at Oakdale Elementary School.

Two-way dual language program where both native English speakers and Spanish speakers are integrated in the classroom for instruction. Students are taught literacy and academic content in English and a partner language (Spanish) to develop high levels of language proficiency and literacy in both languages, to demonstrate high levels of academic achievement, and to develop an appreciation for and an understanding of diverse cultures.
