Waukegan High School’s JROTC program will host its fourth annual Valentine’s for Veterans event later this month to support local veterans. 

Families are invited to an in-person event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, at the WHS-Brookside Campus. The program has a goal of creating 10,000 cards this year. 

As in past years, JROTC cadets will collect Valentine’s cards to donate to the Midwest Veterans Closet in North Chicago, which distributes cards to various local veteran associations and organizations.
