Dear Families and Staff,

We are happy to announce that we are in the final stages of planning for our voluntary weekly COVID testing program for students and staff. We want to thank our parents and staff members who completed our recent survey, and indicated your interest in weekly testing. This response helped us determine the scope of our testing program, so that we can properly allocate our resources, and those of our testing partner, Achieve Health Management (AHM).

This voluntary testing is scheduled to begin next week. In the next day or so parents and staff will receive notification through CrisisGo regarding testing consent and registration. Any staff member who will be testing will need to complete the forms. Parents will be required to complete the forms for their children, if they plan to test.

- A couple quick facts for everyone to keep in mind about testing:
Testing will be scheduled once a week at each school building on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A full schedule of testing dates will be shared when it is finalized.
-
At our two largest schools, WHS-Washington and WHS-Brookside campuses, testing will be conducted with the assistance of representatives from our testing partners, AHM.
-
At all other school sites, testing will be conducted with the assistance of our school nurses, using testing kits provided by AHM.
-
The testing will consist of a simple nasal swab, and results are expected in 24 to 48 hours.
-
Anyone testing must provide insurance information upon registration. If you do not have current health insurance you still have the option to be testing and you will need to note that you do not have insurance. It is important that accurate information is provided during registration.

Thank you.
