Waukegan Public Schools’ five middle schools will host drive-through promotion events for 8th grade students on Monday, May 24. Each middle school will host separate events on school grounds to celebrate students’ matriculation to high school. Additional information on each schools’ celebration can be found below. 

 

Abbott Middle School - Monday, May 24

Abbott will host a drive-through promotion celebration between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the school’s west parking lot. Students will receive a promotion certificate, a t-shirt, and a lawn sign. A virtual celebration will be premiered on Abbott’s YouTube channel and Facebook Page at 6 p.m. 


Benny Middle School - Monday, May 24

Benny will host a drive-through promotion celebration between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the school’s parking lot. The school will distribute promotion materials during the event. They will also host a virtual celebration on the school’s website and social media


Jefferson Middle School - Monday, May 24

Jefferson will host a drive-through promotion celebration between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the school’s main circle driveway. Students will receive a promotion certificate, a t-shirt, and a lawn sign. The school will also host a virtual celebration on the school’s website at 6 p.m. 


Juarez Middle School - Monday, May 24

Juarez will host a drive-through promotion celebration between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the school’s rear parking lot. Students will receive a promotion certificate, a t-shirt, and a lawn sign. The school will also host a virtual celebration on the Miguel Juarez YouTube Channel and Facebook page at 6 p.m.


Webster Middle School - Monday, May 24

Webster will host a drive-through promotion celebration between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. in front of the school’s main entrance. Students will receive a promotion certificate, a t-shirt, and a lawn sign. A virtual promotion video will be posted on the school’s website at 5 p.m.


Parents with questions about promotion exercises are asked to contact their child’s school.
