New Tools Launched to Help Parents Monitor Buses
Posted on 08/20/2019

This month, District 60 officially began the use of two new tools that will make it easier for parents to access information about their children’s bus routes.

Versatrans’ “My Stop” mobile app is a bus tracking tool that displays the estimated time of arrival and location of the user's child’s assigned school bus. Versatrans “My Stop” can be accessed from any smartphone or tablet by downloading the app on Apple's App Store and Google Play, as well as from any computer at: https://vto.wps60.org/onscreen/Login.aspx

The app will track the user’s assigned buses while the bus is enroute, as well as display estimated arrival times to and from the student’s bus stop. Login Information for My Stop: Select Waukegan Public Schools (app only) - Username: Your student’s ID number - Password: Your student’s Date of Birth- (2 digit month, 2 digit day and 4 digit year) No dashes. Ex. 01022000

Once logged in, parents can select the Setup Icon and change the password if desired. Parents with multiple children using transportation services will only have to sign-in with one set of credentials, and can switch between children in the same household by using the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.

While MyStop app only serves as a GPS tool, parents will have access to bus route numbers, bus stop locations, pick-up and drop-off times, as well as other busing information through the separate Versatrans’ ELINK tool.

The ELINK tool, which can be accessed here: http://vt.wps60.org/elinkrp/Login.aspx, uses the same login as the My Stop app. Once logged in, parents can click on “View My Student to view their child’s busing information.

Parents are encouraged to check the ELINK regularly during the first few weeks of the school year, as bus pick-up times are expected to fluctuate as more students register for transportation services.

For any questions pertaining to the My Stop app or ELINK, please contact the Transportation Department at 224-303-3801.
