Students in Grades 9,10, and 11

#1:  Copying Files and Getting Organized

  1. Go to your Google Drive and create a new folder and name it Remote Learning WHS and add your own first and last name to the file
  2. Go to this link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1HpSvSE66cYz0GyqOFy_K0n6mPsyi3Mgm?usp=sharing  and make a copy of the assignments for your grade level. Drag those files into your WHS Remote Learning Folder.  Do this for all of the classes for your grade level.
  3. Make a file folder for each content area, ELA, math, science, and social studies, and drag those files into each folder to keep organized. Link to video showing how to do this (no sound).
  4. If you are not sure how to copy files and save them to your folder, please watch this short video (no sound) on copying files and dragging them to your folder.

#2 Use Kami to Annotate PDF Documents (copies of PDFs you just created)

  1. For your assignments you can respond directly on the PDFs using a Chrome extension called Kami. Many students and teachers have already used these apps to annotate PDFs in class. The free version of this app will allow you annotate your documents. You will not need the paid version to complete your work digitally.
  2. For English/ELA coursework with answer sheets please mark the answer sheets with your answers. For other coursework (math, science, and social studies) mark your answers right on the PDF next to the questions.  You should use scratch paper for any calculations done in math or science.
  3. Resources for using Kami to annotate PDFs here.

More information will be made available later regarding how your work will be collected.
