Want to make a real difference in our school? We’re looking for dedicated parents and community members to join our Family and Community Engagement and/ or the Principal Advisory Team to help us as we work to improve Waukegan High School.

Principal Advisory Meeting Schedule: Twice a month on Tuesdays from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Focus Areas Include:
Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessments: What we teach, how we teach, and how we measure student learning.
Student Culture: The overall school environment, student expectations, positive interventions, attendance, clubs, athletics, and safety.
Staff Culture and Leadership: Supporting staff and developing leadership.
Support Services: Providing academic counseling, mental health support, and multi-tiered interventions.
Post-Secondary/College and Career Readiness: Preparing students for life after high school.

Family and community engagement is central to all areas.
