College Board National Recognition Programs

College Board National Recognition Programs
All juniors will take the PSAT on October 16 at Waukegan High School, Washington Campus. Juniors who complete the PSAT will be entered into the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) and those who are African American, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, attend school in a rural area or small town, may be invited to apply for academic recognition as part of the College Board National Recognition Programs.

The College Board National Recognition Programs are academic honors that can be included on college applications. They are not scholarships, but colleges use them to identify academically exceptional students. For more information about the College Board National Recognition Programs visit psat.org/recognition.
